This handy punch is designed for creating small oval shapes. Available in 5 sizes: 4x6mm, 4x7mm, 4x8mm, 4x10mm, and 4x12mm. Like our other punches, this Oval Punch is made from high-grade tool steel, carefully tempered with a polished edge. The hole tapers back from the cutting edge to allow punchings to clear freely. The hollow punch set is easy to usesimply place the punch over the area that needs a hole and strike the back end with a hammer or mallet. It creates clean, precise holes ideal for decorative or functional purposes on leather and other soft materials. Ideal for use on leather, cloth, plastic, rubber, vinyl, and similar soft materials. For best results, place the material on a soft surface before punching. Hollow punches deliver clean, accurate shapes in gaskets, leather, plastic, rubber, and other soft materials. When using, always place the workpiece on a wooden board or suitable backing to protect the punch and ensure clean cuts. Note: As this is a newly manufactured tool, some protective oil may be present on the surface. Occasional light surface rust may occur due to shipping and storage; simply clean and oil the tool before use.
