Connect the two thicker blue and white wires from the controller to the motor: the blue wire to the red motor wire, and the white wire to the black motor wire. 2. Next, connect the two red and black wires from the controller to the battery: red wire to the positive terminal, black wire to the negative terminal. Then connect the speed controller to the designated terminals (the speed controller has three wires; connect the black wire to the corresponding black wire). Finally, connect the power lock. Once powered and unlocked, the motor will run. Note: Do not connect the power wires incorrectly, as this may cause damage.
