There are 2 modes of the display brightness: Constant light mode & Energy saving mode. In energy saving mode, the display will be dim after 5 seconds which increases the battery life. Strong Magnets & Silicone No-slip Pads -- This timer has 2 rubbered magnets on the back, it is more secure to attach to your fridge or other metal surface. Just the right magnetic level makes it stick well but also effortless to remove, allowing you to move it around easily.
