The ESP32-C3 SuperMini expansion board is designed for use with the ESP32-C3 SuperMini development board, providing enhanced functionality and addressing several limitations of the base board. This expansion board allows connection to an external 3.7V lithium battery and supports USB charging. A green indicator light illuminates during charging and turns off when the battery is fully charged. All IO ports are broken out for easy access, enabling users to connect various sensors and peripherals. The board offers improved power supply options with two voltage outputs, VCC1 and VCC2. The default output voltage is 3.3V. To output the full battery voltage of 3.7V, the user can remove the 0R resistor and short the designated pads with solder. VCC1 and VCC2 can be controlled independently, allowing flexibility in power configuration.
