Tap aerator, is a small, inexpensive device mounted on the aerator tip of the faucet. This allows us to reduce water consumption by 20 to 80%. Its operating principle is quite simple. The particular shape of the interior of the aerator generates a vacuum which draws in air. Then the water is mixed with air only and as such leaves the faucet spout. The effect of this action is to maintain the same strong flow of water, but at much lower consumption. This aerator will have a male (extarnal) thread of 20mm and will fit taps with female (internal) threads of 20mm. Before you make the purchase please take a look in our dimensions chart just to ensure it will fit your faucet. This aerator will reduce the flow rate to just 4 liters per minute giving more 60% water reduction.
