It is suitable for most individuals when seeking to minimize the number of attempts during venipuncture. How to use: Step 1: Minimize ambient light. A dark room will provide the best results. Press the button on the bottom of the device to turn on the infrared LED. Step 2: Apply gentle hand pressure on the skin and slowly move the device from one side to the other. Veins will appear as shadows or dark lines at the periphery of the red glowing area. Note: The device must remain in contact with the skin when searching for veins. Lifting the device off the skin will not produce visible results. Step 3: Once a vein is located (shown as dark shadows or lines), adjust the position of the infrared light around that area to achieve optimal visibility. For shallower veins, you may need to slightly increase the distance between the device and the skin if the light is too bright and obscures the vein. Follow the path of the vein to get a clear understanding of its direction and length. Note: It is best to select a vein with a straight path.
