Preheat the device for at least 5 minutes before calibration. Zero Calibration: With no current applied, use a flathead screwdriver to adjust the zero potentiometer located on the back of the transformer until the ammeter’s decimal point flashes rapidly—this indicates optimal zero setting. Steady or off indicates a positive offset; slow flashing indicates a negative offset. Current Calibration: Apply a known current at approximately half the full-scale range. Adjust the amplitude potentiometer on the side of the transformer until the reading matches a calibrated reference meter. For higher precision, repeat both zero and span adjustments as needed.
