Install the batteries and press the power button to turn on the device. 2. Press the mode button to select the measurement function: grain moisture content or probe location temperature. When measuring moisture, the display shows "XL"; when measuring temperature, it shows "1-". The device defaults to moisture measurement upon startup. 3. Grain Moisture Measurement: - Confirm the device is set to moisture measurement mode. - Press the selection key to choose the grain type (displayed as 1, 2, 3, or 4: 1 for wheat, 2 for rice, 3 for paddy, 4 for corn). - Insert the probe into the grain sample to begin measurement. The device will display the moisture content. - During measurement, pressing the key displays "MAX" and activates maximum value hold mode. Press again to exit. In this mode, the display updates only when a higher value is detected. - The side button functions as the hold button. Press once to enable hold mode (symbol appears on screen), press again to disable (symbol disappears). 4. Temperature Measurement: - When temperature mode is selected, the device displays the approximate temperature at the probe location. - Press the Enter key to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit (default is Celsius). 5.
