The sharpener mechanism automatically draws the pencil into the cutting chamber, creating a perfect point. 3. When idling, reverse the rotation to remove the pencil. 4. Pull out the shavings box and clean it regularly. Note: 1). If the sharpener idles, check for broken lead in the cone hole. Remove it promptly (Turn counterclockwise to remove the blade, use a toothpick to remove the broken lead, then turn clockwise to reattach the blade). 2).
