Adjust the nib thickness by turning the knob on the handle according to your drawing needs to achieve different levels of point sharpness (Figure A) 2. Insert the pencil into the opening and rotate the rocker arm clockwise to advance and sharpen the pencil 3. When the sharpener begins to idle, the pencil is fully sharpened. Rotate the arm counterclockwise to retract the pencil. Avoid over-retracting to prevent breakage of the pencil tip (Figure B)
