Wireless Switch: No need to connect neutral or live wires. This battery-powered version allows you to control your smart home anytime, anywhere. Switch with Neutral or Live Wire: Features a simple 4-step installation. Step 1: Check your old switch. If you have a neutral wire, choose the switch with a neutral wire. If not, choose the one without. If unsure, opt for the model without a neutral wire. Step 2: Connect your old switch wires to the product interfaces. N corresponds to the neutral line, L is the power cord, and L1 and L2 are the light wires. Install the product. Step 3: Connect your phone to WiFi. Open the Mi Home app and tap to add the switch in the upper right corner. Pay attention to your model. Step 4: Follow the prompts. Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds until the yellow flashing light turns on. The app will guide you through each step until successful linking.
