Take the knob rod and thread in the aluminum block. 4.Insert the cross bar into the mounting support and secure with button head bolts and flat washers. 5.Verify the direction of mounting the roof rack cross bar rail before installation. 6.Remove the rear roof rail leg cover. Using the trim tool along the inner edge. Pry the cover outward. Press down the cover inward. Rotate the cover. Repeat to remove the left side leg cover. 7.Keeping the knobs loose, slide a crossbar, adjusted to the appropriate length, into the roof rails. 8.Position front and rear roof racks so they are parallel. Front roof rack should be 145mm (5.7 in.) from the back of the front cover to the roof rack center. The distance between the two bars is 700mm (27.6 in) 9.Securely tighten knobs. Make sure the aluminum blocks clamp the roof rack onto roof rail. 10.Torque the button head bolts underneath the roof rack to 6 lb-ft. Align clips with slots on base rail. Press down until cover snaps into position. 11.After installing the roof rack, rock each rack to make sure it is secure.
