Each brush has a thick belly which allows it to hold plenty of paint whilst the tapered flags and natural spring of the bristles ensures it retains its shape. Taklon is made from thermoplastic polyester - sometimes referred to as PBT it mimics the characteristics of natural sable. It is a bit softer than the earliest nylon brushes.
