We recommend using these cartridges for filtering or pre-filtering water before an activated carbon filter cartridge or an ultrafiltration filter cartridge (membrane). It is also advisable to place a cartridge with a higher filtration threshold before this one (e.g., 20 microns) to avoid saturating the cartridge's charge.
