However, if it becomes worn or clogged due to prolonged use, the extruder gear assembly can be easily replaced. With hardened steel gears, the extruder can print durable structural filaments such as carbon nylon and glass nylon. The P1P stainless steel extruder can be upgraded to a hardened steel extruder by simply replacing the extruder gear assembly.
