Round carbide inserts: Very effective for finish cuts on bowl interiors or any grooves or rounded profiles on bowls and stems. Diamond carbide insert: - Primarily used for adding thin lines of detail on turnings, the harpoon tip is ideal for hollowing out and creating fine laces. - The long sides of the disc are also useful for delicate cuts on the edges of bowls or trays. - Use gently, as excessive pressure on the tip due to knots, uneven grain or aggressive use may break the pellet.
