BP5: Suitable for light spacer runs, panel separation and custom positioning where a plastic thread is appropriate.. || PRODUCT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: These M14 x 500 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as two longer, fully threaded plastic bars. The larger M14 thread and 500 mm length make them useful for cut-to-length stand-offs, wider spacing runs, panel separation and alignment tasks where a non-metallic threaded section is needed. PTFE provides low surface friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical compatibility when the environment is suitable. It is not as stiff as metal, so the design should allow for plastic thread behaviour. Use compatible M14 nuts, cut carefully if shortening and check tightening force, temperature and chemical exposure before use.
