This ARM Cortex-M4 LQFP144 development board is built around the high-performance STM32F429ZIT6 MCU, designed for efficient prototyping and embedded projects. It features an onboard debugger/programmer with USB re-enumeration supporting mass storage, virtual COM port, and debug port. The board is compatible with a wide range of IDEs including IAR, Keil, GCC-based environments, and Arm Mbed (select models). Expandability is provided through a Zio connector for V3 expansion and additional headers, with many dedicated add-on boards available. Hardware highlights include an STM32 MCU in LQFP144 package, external SMPS for Vcore (on -P suffix boards), Ethernet (IEEE 802.3-2002 compliant when supported), USB OTG/Full-Speed Device, 3 user LEDs, 2 user buttons, reset button, and a 32.768 kHz crystal oscillator. The board can be powered via USB VBUS or an external source, and includes USB Micro-AB and Ethernet RJ45 connectors (where supported). The STM32Cube package provides free libraries and code examples to accelerate development.
