This converter allows Radio to easily control the ICOM Tuner or other tuners compatible with the ICOM four-wire tuner interface protocol. Without needing to change the radio's transmission mode or reduce its power, simply press the TNR button on the radio, and these adjustments will be completed automatically. Radios that have been tested on the machine so far: DX10,FTDX101,FTDX3000,FT991,FT891,FT897,FT857,FT450D. Tuners that have been tested: AH3,AH4,AT120,AT130,AT140,FMJ993,FMJ998,ZTT-100,LDG Z-11Pro,Mat-k100. Instructions for Use: 1. Turn on the radio and set the radio's [TUNER SELECT] to [EXTERNAL]. Save the settings and then turn off the radio. 2. Connect one end of the MD8 cable to the converter and the other end to the radio's tuner interface. 3. Connect the other end of the converter to the ICOM tuner. Check the connection for errors based on the English markings beside the plug. 4. Turn on the radio, and the green LED on the converter will light up. Press the TNR button on the radio briefly to activate the tuner function-the red LED on the converter will light up. To exit the tuner function, the red LED will turn off. 5. Long-press the TNR button on the radio to start tuner adjustment. Note: 1. The converter cannot transmit the frequency sent by the radio to the tuner, so the tuner cannot achieve frequency synchronization like the FC40 tuner.To ensure the correct impedance match, tune the antenna with the yaesu radio start tuner each time the operating frequency is changed. 2. The FT710 radio cannot use this converter. 3. The Codan series antennas, such as the 9350 antenna, are also incompatible with this converter.
