This locator is compatible with Android and iOS devices. Is there a distance limit? There are no global distance restrictions. As long as there are devices within 10–50 meters, the device can be located. Is it real-time? When devices are nearby, near real-time positioning can be achieved. The more devices in the vicinity, the more accurate the positioning will be. If no devices are present, location updates will not occur until devices come within range, which may result in a delay of 5 to 15 minutes between updates. How does it work? The device emits a secure Bluetooth signal every two seconds. Nearby devices (such as s, s, or Macs) detect this signal and securely upload the information to iCloud. Only the owner of the locator can access the location data. The presence of multiple devices improves update speed and accuracy. Where is it best used? The device performs best in urban or high-traffic areas where many people use devices. Remote or sparsely populated areas with few users may not be suitable. Please evaluate your environment before purchasing. Why might positioning be inaccurate? Inaccuracies may occur if no devices are nearby. Location data may take 5–15 minutes to update. Note that Bluetooth-based locators are not as precise as GPS. However, unlike GPS trackers, this device does not require a SIM card, data plan, or frequent charging.
