Cutting Modular Cable: 1. Place the single-bladed side of the tool’s cutter facing you and cut the modular cable to the desired length. Ensure cuts are straight across, not diagonal. Stripping Modular Cable (Flat Cable): 2a. For 6P cable, insert into the two-bladed side of the stripper until it reaches the stop guide. 2b. For 8P cable, insert into the two-bladed side of the stripper so it extends slightly past the lower cutting blade. 3. Squeeze the handles fully until they stop; ensure the cable is perpendicular to the tool, then pull the cable out. 4. Remove the outer jacket, insert the stripped cable into the plug, and align wires correctly (e.g., T568A or T568B standard). 5. Place the modular plug with cable into the tool’s holder. Ensure the stripped wires are positioned between the crimping tab and contact points. Squeeze the handles fully until they stop. 6. Remove the crimped plug from the tool.
