VDO Water Temperature Sensor with 1/2 Inch NPT Thread for Generator

This sensor operates on the principle that resistance decreases as water temperature increases, and increases as temperature decreases. It has a working range of 0-120 degrees Celsius, with an alarm activation temperature of 97 ±2 degrees. Upon reaching the alarm temperature, the integrated switch closes to activate an alarm light; the light deactivates when the temperature falls and the switch opens. The alarm response time is approximately 1 second. The sensor features two wires: one connects to a water temperature gauge for parameter display, and the other connects to the alarm switch. It is designed for use with crude oil engines. Specifications include a metal construction and a size of 21mm. Condition: New. Package Contents: 1 x Water Temperature Sensor.
